Cat Flea Control

Fleas are insects that feed on mammals and birds.

Do fleas harm cats?

Fleas live on their host and reproduce extremely quickly. When there is a heavy load of fleas on your cat, they can cause your cat to become anemic and loose hair.

What are some simple steps for treating fleas in your senior cat?

If you are concerned about fleas on your cat, please consult your veterinarian. We do not recommend any over the counter collars, shampoos or topicals that are purchased at pet stores and grocery stores. These products are not always effective or safe to use as they often contain pesticides not recommended for cats.
