Overweight Cat Help

Obesity is on the rise with our cat population and can lead to many problems including, diabetes, arthritis, heart strain, and difficulty defecating.

How do I know if my cat is overweight?

Every animal carries their weight differently, but ideally, all animals should have a waistline. If you are concerned, please schedule a consultation.

How can I help my cat lose weight?

Many cats are not good at self-regulating their weight, so it is a good idea to have meal time and measure the amount of food you are giving.

What is offered during a nutritional consultation?

During a nutritional consultation, a technologist will take your cat’s measurements to determine the ideal body weight. Then they will go over diet options and determine the best method for weight loss for your cat.
