Jennifer grew up in rural Manitoba and has lived in Alberta since 2005. Having been raised around cats and dogs since she was a child, she knew she wanted a career in animal health care. She attended Olds College and graduated with her AHT diploma in 2014. She has worked in busy general practices since that time, and she joined the amazing team at McKnight Veterinary Hospital in November 2021 to learn emergency medicine.
Her special interests include dentistry, cytology, and feline medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys doing yoga, kayaking, hiking, and running. She lives in Calgary with her partner and their two cats, Joey and Luna.
