Julie

Julie grew up on a family-run farm in rural Ireland. From a young age, she has had a deep passion for caring about animals. Julie immigrated to Calgary in September 2014 and joined McKnight shortly after as part of the Reception team. In 2019, she went back to Ireland and came back upon renewing her Visa. Since then, Julie has become one of the Team Leads in Reception, helping manage the day-to-day hustle and bustle of the front desk of an ER. She enjoys meeting clients and their fur babies and loves that every day in the clinic is different. Julie appreciates that at McKnight, it is constantly filled with new learning opportunities as we are a teaching hospital as well. When she is not at the clinic, Julie enjoys exploring the mountains, baking, and spending time with her partner and socializing with friends.
