Maan

Maan obtained a certificate for the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Bow Valley College in 2019. Upon graduation, she was given an opportunity to join the team at McKnight Veterinary Hospital as a Tech Assistant. Working at McKnight and witnessing the daily emergency cases has grown her veterinary interest, and amplified her enthusiasm for veterinary medicine. Maan is currently studying Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary, majoring in Biological Sciences. After completion, she hopes to enter the veterinary program. In addition to being a student and working, Maan is also a fur mom to a little Shih Tzu named Spud, who she brought with her all the way from the Philippines when she moved to Calgary in 2016. On her days off, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and going on long drives with her family.
